Entered the cohort this quarter and is under active review by the leveling committee, which has not yet agreed that it should be in the cohort. The objection is straightforward. Rise measured at 4mm. The rubric allocates weight to rise on the assumption that a stack is attempting it, and this one is not.

Observed behaviour within its own terms is good. The batter is thin, the edges are lacy and crisp, and the surface takes a fold without cracking. Cross functional pairing at 3.8 is the highest score any P3 stack currently holds, and it is earned. With ham and a fried egg the galette organises the plate rather than sitting on it.

The concrete detail: it was served folded into quarters and held that fold for the length of the sitting without softening at the crease. Nothing else in the cohort would do that.

Growth area, stated carefully. The stack is not underperforming on rise. It is declining to participate in rise. Under the current rubric that costs it 0.10 of weighted score and there is no mechanism for the stack to appeal it. That mechanism is the committee’s to build, not the stack’s, and the absence of it is recorded here as a limitation of the instrument rather than of the artifact.

For 2026-Q4 we expect a committee determination and no change in preparation.
