2026-Q3 review · Level P2 · Active
Silver Dollar Cohort
Review
Assessed as a group rather than individually, which is the correct treatment and is worth restating because it is regularly questioned. Eleven pancakes were produced in the reviewed sitting. Individual variance was low enough that scoring them separately would have generated eleven near-identical reviews and no additional signal.
Aggregate output is the strength. Structural integrity at 4.7 is the highest in the cohort, and the mechanism is size. A small pancake has less unsupported span, so it does not sag, and it can be lifted whole on a fork without a second point of support. Every one of the eleven survived being lifted.
The concrete detail worth recording: the batch cooked to an even colour across the pan, including the two at the edge. That is a process outcome rather than a batter outcome and it is the clearest evidence of consistency the cohort has produced this year.
Growth area is cross functional pairing at 2.6, which is the lowest score the group holds. Small format limits what can be placed on or beside a unit. In practice the cohort is served alone and has been in every observed sitting.
Composite has fallen for two consecutive quarters. No dimension has fallen. The decline is entirely attributable to the reweighting of cross functional pairing from 0.10 to 0.35 across the same period, and this note exists so that the trajectory is not misread as a performance signal.
Calibration note. Every dimension is flat or improved since 2026-Q1. The composite has fallen in both subsequent quarters as a result of reweighting.
Dimension breakdown, 2026-Q3
Each dimension is scored from 1.0 to 5.0 and multiplied by the weight in force for 2026-Q3. The weighted column sums to the composite.

| Absorbency | 3.5 | 0.15 | 0.525 |
| Syrup Retention | 3.3 | 0.25 | 0.825 |
| Rise | 2.8 | 0.10 | 0.280 |
| Cross Functional Pairing | 2.6 | 0.35 | 0.910 |
