Third in the cohort this quarter, up from fifth of nine in 2026-Q1, on dimension scores that have barely moved. The mechanism is the rubric and the review says so up front rather than allowing the trajectory to be read as sudden improvement.

Cross functional pairing at 4.7 is the second highest in the cohort and has been at or near that level since the stack was first reviewed. Oat carries savoury and sweet accompaniments equally, so the stack has been observed working with roasted stone fruit, with chilli oil, and with nothing at all. It is the only stack in the cohort that has been served successfully in all three configurations.

The concrete detail: the edges crisp without the centre drying, because the oat holds water longer than flour does. On the reviewed plate the outer 10mm gave audible resistance to the fork and the centre did not.

Growth area is structural integrity at 3.1, which is the reason the stack has not moved higher. Without gluten the crumb is held together by hydration alone and it fails under a loaded fork. The stack has been aware of this for four quarters and has not addressed it.

Expectation for 2026-Q4 is a structural integrity score above 3.5 and no regression on pairing. The rating this quarter reflects the stack’s position relative to the cohort, and the position is better than the underlying work has changed.
